It irks me because if someone makes the effort to reply to a post of mine, it’s only courteous that I recognize them and with this system all jacked up, that’s difficult to accomplish.

I had to compose a reply entirely in my notes app in order to be able to post anything at all as the mobile editor is such a fucking garbage fire. The delay is simply astonishing. Dial-up was faster than typing in Kinja on an iPhone.

My only problem fitting things on mobile is when I go to write a post in portrait. The text runs off screen.

Copy paste from notes is a great idea

Thank you for using Kinja™.
The floggings will continue until morale improves.

Is everyone using IOS or Android? I am posting this in Chrome in IOS 13/iPhone 8 with no issues.

Typing was super screwed up earlier. It was like typing on an old electric typewriter, it wouldn’t show what you were typing then it’d suddenly regurgitate it all at once.

Not just iPhone.
On Android 6, I need to hit reply, then give it a solid minute before typing, otherwise gibberish happens.

Android 6!?!
HayZeus your phone needs updated. The glacially slow OS updates that plague Android is part of the reason why I switched back to an iPhone.
There is no perfect mobile OS. But I am glad that Apple does their best to support phones for years beyond what most Androids get.

Hey, o ld hardware, not going to get an update beyond 6. This phone’s 4 1/2 years old.
Kinja is about the only thing that doesn't work well.

Nokia and Motorola both make very good mid-range phones for $400 or less now. And getting a year old flagship from OnePlus would still get you updates for a while.

Ye ah but this one’s $0. The perfect price.
I almost pulled the trigger on a Samsung A20, but $250 is a little rich for my blood.

I cannot fathom living with a phone that old. I did it for a while with my Windows Phones, but I need to have much more current tech now for work and because I would struggle with outdated hardware.
Good luck. Glad you are happy though.
